Mouse Dual Specificity Phosphatase 5 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Dual Specificity Phosphatase 5 (DUSP5) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for DUSP5. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and captured DUSP5 is detected using a biotinylated anti-DUSP5 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added and the enzymatic reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution, producing a yellow colour whose intensity, read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, is proportional to the amount of DUSP5 captured in each well.

Detection is colourimetric on a pre-coated microplate platform, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 m. The reported sensitivity is <0.055 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed. Spiked recovery data showed averages of 80–102% in serum, 81–100% in EDTA plasma, and 80–89% in heparin plasma (n=5 per matrix), with linearity demonstrated across sample dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.
