Mouse Doublecortin Like Kinase 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Doublecortin Like Kinase 1 (DCAMKL1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), with an antibody specific for DCAMKL1 immobilised on the plate. Standards and samples are added and DCAMKL1 is captured, then detected using a Biotinylated Anti-DCAMKL1 Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm and concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

The manufacturer reports an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.059 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery data are provided for serum (n=5, range 80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%–89%, average 84%), alongside linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each matrix. Detection is colourimetric, performed on a microplate reader.
