Mouse Doublecortin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Doublecortin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for Doublecortin is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate; standards and test samples are added and the captured target is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Doublecortin Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a coloured product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with the colour intensity proportional to the amount of Doublecortin present.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <0.051 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery testing (n=5) gave averages of 91% in serum (range 80-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%); linearity was demonstrated across sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with components stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
