Mouse Dipeptidyl Peptidase 8 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Dipeptidyl Peptidase 8 (DPP8) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, together with a biotinylated anti-DPP8 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised using a TMB substrate, producing a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the DPP8 concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

Stated assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml and sensitivity is <0.113 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5). Linearity has been assessed at sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
