Mouse Dihydrolipoyl Transacetylase ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Pyruvate Dehydrogenase E2 (Dihydrolipoyl Transacetylase) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Pyruvate Dehydrogenase E2. Standards and samples are added to the wells; the captured analyte is then bound by a biotinylated anti-Pyruvate Dehydrogenase E2 antibody, and HRP-Avidin with TMB substrate generates a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.048 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been evaluated in serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, average 84%, n=5), and dilution linearity has been demonstrated from 1:2 through 1:16. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
