Mouse Diacylglycerol-O-Acyltransferase Homolog 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables in vitro quantitative determination of mouse DGAT1 (Diacylglycerol O-Acyltransferase Homolog 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs an antibody specific for DGAT1 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where DGAT1 is captured by the immobilized antibody. After incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-DGAT1 Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate solution produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml, with sensitivity below 0.115 ng/ml. Detection is colourimetric on a pre-coated microplate comprising 12 x 8 well strips, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.
