Mouse DHEA-S ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this high-sensitivity competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse DHEA Sulfate in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other biological fluids. The assay shows no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

The 2-hour competitive ELISA is run on a pre-coated microplate with colorimetric detection at 450 nm. DHEA Sulfate present in standards or samples competes with immobilized DHEA Sulfate for binding to an assay-specific antibody. After incubation and washing, an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate is added, followed by TMB substrate to produce a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of an acidic stop solution. The concentration of DHEA Sulfate is inversely proportional to the OD450 value.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a measuring range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. It is shipped at +4°C, with components stored at +4°C or -20°C according to the protocol manual. Users should avoid freeze/thaw cycles and should not use the kit past its expiration date.
