Mouse Deoxyribonuclease I ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Deoxyribonuclease I (DNase I) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with antibody specific for DNase I, and detection relies on a biotinylated anti-DNase I antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the intensity of yellow is directly proportional to the amount of DNase I captured. Absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a stated range of 1.25-80 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.49 ng/ml, with a total run time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
