Mouse Deiodinase, Iodothyronine, Type III ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Deiodinase, Iodothyronine, Type III (DIO3) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, using a biotinylated anti-DIO3 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction is read as absorbance at 450nm and is proportional to DIO3 concentration.

Reported sensitivity is <0.115 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its stated expiration date.

Manufacturer-reported spike-and-recovery data (n=5) are: serum 80–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%). Linearity data across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions are also provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples (n=5).
