Mouse Defensin Beta 2 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse beta 2 Defensin/BD-2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) format with a colourmetric end-point read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, employing a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The standard curve spans 3.12-200 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <1.31 pg/ml, and the complete protocol runs in 4h 30m. Average recovery values reported by the manufacturer are 91% in serum, 89% in EDTA plasma and 90% in heparin plasma, with linearity demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in each matrix.
