Mouse Cystatin A ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Mouse Cystatin A ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Cystatin A in serum, plasma, saliva, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-Cystatin A detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction is stopped with an acidic solution and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve covers a range of 46.8–3000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <14.25 pg/ml, and the complete assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date. Reported average recovery is 91% in serum (range 80%–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, n=5), with linearity evaluated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
