Mouse Cystatin 3 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Cystatin C in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) format, with a biotinylated anti-Cystatin C detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colourmetric signal read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The stated product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.073 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Spike-and-recovery performance is reported across matrices: serum averaging 91% (range 80–102%, n=5), EDTA plasma averaging 90% (range 81–100%, n=5) and heparin plasma averaging 84% (range 80–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 shows ranges of 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma (all n=5).
