Mouse Cyclophilin A ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Cyclophilin A. The kit is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Cyclophilin A. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where Cyclophilin A is captured by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-Cyclophilin A antibody is added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The intensity of the yellow colour is proportional to the amount of Cyclophilin A in each well, and concentration is calculated by reading the absorbance at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and comparing values to the standard curve.

The product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.065 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol manual, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
