Mouse Creatine Kinase, Brain ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Creatine Kinase MB in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated detection antibody and an HRP-based TMB substrate system. The colour change is read at 450nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of Creatine Kinase MB is calculated against a standard curve.

The product range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <6.9 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery has been validated for serum (range 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, average 84%). Linearity has been demonstrated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.

The kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection reagents, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Storage instructions indicate keeping components at +4°C or -20°C as specified, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
