Mouse Corticotropin Releasing Hormone ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies a competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Corticotropin Releasing Factor (CRF) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The test is performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

During the assay, CRF present in samples or standards competes with immobilised CRF antigen for binding sites on a biotinylated anti-CRF antibody. After washing, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate are added; the resulting yellow product is inversely proportional to the CRF concentration, which is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

According to the manufacturer, the standard curve spans 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a stated sensitivity of <4.45 pg/ml. The total assay time is 2 h 30 min, and kit components are stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as indicated.
