Mouse Contactin 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) kit from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Contactin 1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate, using a Biotinylated Anti-Contactin 1 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate with TMB substrate. The colourmetric reaction is read at 450nm in a microplate reader, with the concentration of Contactin 1 calculated from a standard curve.

The assay has a quantitative range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.047 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported sample recovery (n=5) is: Serum 80%-102% range with 91% average; EDTA Plasma 81%-100% range with 90% average; Heparin Plasma 80%-89% range with 84% average. Linear dilution recovery data are provided at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. A colorimetric microplate reader is required for readout.
