Mouse Connexin 43 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Mouse Connexin 43/GJA1 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Connexin 43/GJA1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids.

An antibody specific for Connexin 43/GJA1 is pre-coated onto the microplate; the analyte is captured and detected with a biotinylated anti-Connexin 43/GJA1 antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and concentration calculated against a standard curve. Sensitivity is reported as <0.052 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery (n=5) averaged 91% in serum (range 83%-100%), 94% in EDTA plasma (range 91%-98%) and 94% in heparin plasma (range 90%-99%), with linearity demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions.
