Mouse Complement Component 4a ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Complement C4a in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with the absorbance of each well proportional to the amount of Complement C4a captured and quantified by reference to a standard curve.

Quantitative performance is supported by a standard range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <24 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Average recovery in spiked samples was 91% for serum (n=5, range 83-100%), 94% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 91-98%) and 94% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 90-99%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 was demonstrated for serum (80-110%), EDTA plasma (70-108%) and heparin plasma (79-110%). The kit is reactive with mouse samples only and components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, with the assay not to be used past the stated expiration date.
