Mouse Colony Stimulating Factor 2, Granulocyte Macrophage ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables in vitro quantitative determination of mouse GM-CSF (Colony Stimulating Factor 2, Granulocyte Macrophage) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate and is read colorimetrically at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.

The standard curve range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml, with a stated sensitivity of <7.4 pg/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing gave average recoveries of 91% in serum (n=5, range 80%-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%-100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%-89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was demonstrated for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices. The capture antibody is pre-coated; bound analyte is detected with a biotinylated anti-GM-CSF antibody, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, yielding a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm against the standard curve. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
