Mouse Colony Stimulating Factor 1, Macrophage ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse M-CSF (Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, this sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com employs a biotinylated anti-M-CSF detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate with TMB substrate, producing a yellow chromogen that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. The reported analytical range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 6.4 pg/ml, and the full assay is completed in approximately 4h 30m. Reagents are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated on the component table.

Validated performance in mouse serum gave an average recovery of 91% (range 80%–102%, n=5), with EDTA plasma averaging 90% (81%–100%) and heparin plasma averaging 84% (80%–89%). The kit is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
