Mouse Collagen Type XV ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Collagen XV alpha 1 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for Collagen XV alpha 1 is pre-coated onto the microplate; standards and test samples are added to the wells, and bound analyte is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Collagen XV alpha 1 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with absorbance proportional to analyte concentration and quantified against a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is <0.106 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml. Mean recovery is 91% in serum (range 83–100%, n=5), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 90–103%, n=5) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 89–102%, n=5). Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is 83–110%, 79–100%, 90–98% and 82–108% for serum; 90–98%, 90–105%, 73–109% and 87–91% for EDTA plasma; and 88–103%, 77–105%, 95–98% and 87–110% for heparin plasma (all n=5). Total assay time is 4h 30m.
