Mouse Collagen Type VII ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com offers a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Collagen VII in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Collagen VII, with detection via a Biotinylated Anti-Collagen VII Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colorimetric reaction is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the concentration is calculated against a standard curve.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.106 ng/ml and a quantitative measurement range of 0.312-20 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported recovery ranges in spiked samples were 80%-102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%-100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80%-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Linearity of dilution was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120μl), Detection Solution B (120μl), Wash Buffer 30X concentrate (20ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45ml), TMB Substrate (9ml), Stop Solution (6ml), and 5 adhesive plate sealers.
