Mouse Collagen Type VI Alpha 1 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables in vitro quantitative measurement of mouse Collagen Type VI Alpha 1 (COL6A1) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate and uses a biotinylated anti-COL6A1 detection antibody with HRP-Avidin conjugate; signal is generated by TMB substrate, stopped with acidic solution, and read at 450 nm.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.268 ng/ml and the assay range as 0.625–40 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation data are provided for serum (recovery range 80–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81–101%, average 91%, n=5) and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%, n=5), along with dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
