Mouse Collagen Type V Alpha 2 ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Collagen V (Collagen Type V Alpha 2) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for Collagen V is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate supplied as 12 x 8 well strips. The assay uses a Biotinylated Anti-Collagen V detection antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported quantitative performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <0.116 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery data indicate averages of 91% for serum (n=5, range 80%-102%), 91% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%-101%), and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%-89%). Dilutional linearity results for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions are also provided. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
