Mouse Coagulation Factor XIII B Polypeptide ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Factor XIII in plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a capture antibody specific for Factor XIII immobilised on the wells. Standards and test samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Factor XIII Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added; catalysis produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution, with the intensity of yellow proportional to the amount of Factor XIII captured. The concentration is calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.

The kit shows a sensitivity of 1.02 ng/ml and an assay range of 3.12-200 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Average recovery is reported as 91% in serum, 94% in EDTA plasma and 94% in heparin plasma, with linearity data across dilution factors from 1:2 to 1:16.
