Mouse Coagulation Factor XII ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Coagulation Factor XII in plasma or other biological fluids. A 96-well microtiter plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for Factor XII; standards and samples are added and bound Factor XII is detected with a biotinylated anti-Factor XII antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm and the Factor XII concentration calculated against the standard curve.

The kit has a sensitivity of <0.251 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.625-40 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported sample recovery averages 91% in serum (n=5, range 83-100%), 96% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 90-103%), and 95% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 89-102%), with dilution linearity data provided at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16.
