Mouse Coagulation Factor VIII ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Coagulation Factor VIII in plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate bearing an antibody specific for Factor VIII. Standards and test samples are added to the wells; Factor VIII present in each sample is captured by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Factor VIII Antibody binds the captured analyte, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction yields a blue product that turns yellow on addition of stop solution. The yellow intensity is proportional to Factor VIII concentration and is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Key specifications include a sensitivity of <2.44 pg/ml, an assay range of 6.25-400 pg/ml, a total assay time of 4h 30m, and reactivity specific to mouse samples.
