Mouse Clusterin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Apolipoprotein J/Clusterin in serum, plasma, urine, breast milk, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cerebrospinal fluid, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with a Biotinylated Anti-Apolipoprotein J/Clusterin Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is generated using TMB substrate solution and read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, with the density of the resulting yellow product proportional to Apolipoprotein J/Clusterin concentration. The reported product range is 18.7-1200 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <6.1 ng/ml, and total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Reported spike-and-recovery performance (n=5) was: serum 80%-102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81%-100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma 80%-89% (average 84%). Linearity upon dilution at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was reported as: serum (n=5) 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108%; heparin plasma (n=5) 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91%. The kit is intended for use with mouse samples and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader.
