Mouse Claudin 3 ELISA Kit

This sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Claudin 3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. A microtiter plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for Claudin 3, and standards and samples are added so that the target binds to the immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-Claudin 3 detection antibody is added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colourimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.061 ng/ml and a measuring range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery and dilution performance have been validated for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.
