Mouse Chromodomain Helicase DNA Binding Protein 4 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse CHD4 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-CHD4 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate solution produces a blue colour that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with the concentration of CHD4 calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.

The kit demonstrates a sensitivity of <0.058 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. It is intended for use with a colourmetric microplate reader. Validation data showed recovery averages of 91% for serum (range 80-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%) in testing with n=5 samples per matrix.
