Mouse Chromobox Homolog 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse HP1 gamma/CBX3 (also referred to as Chromobox Homolog 3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-HP1 gamma/CBX3 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with the resulting colour change read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 h 30 m.

The standard curve covers a range of 0.156-10 ng/ml with a reported sensitivity of 0.046 ng/ml. In spike-and-recovery testing, the kit produced averages of 91% in serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Dilutional linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was 87-91% to 92-97% for serum, 90-105% to 79-108% for EDTA plasma and 84-95% to 89-91% for heparin plasma (n=5).
