Mouse Choline Acetyltransferase ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Choline Acetyltransferase in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate together with a biotinylated anti-Choline Acetyltransferase detection antibody; HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate produce a colour change that is read at 450 nm. The manufacturer reports sensitivity of <0.53 ng/ml, a standard range of 1.56-100 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m.

The kit is intended for use with a colorimetric microplate reader, and components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Validation data from the manufacturer includes recovery of 80-102% (average 91%) in serum, 81-100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma and 80-89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma (n=5), alongside linearity data across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.
