Mouse Cholecystokinin ELISA Kit

This competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Cholecystokinin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a biotinylated anti-Cholecystokinin antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with detection performed colorimetrically by measuring absorbance at 450 nm on a microplate reader. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, with the intensity of yellow inversely proportional to the concentration of Cholecystokinin present in each sample.

The assay has a standard curve range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 4.58 pg/ml, with a total run time of approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been validated in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%), with linearity also demonstrated across multiple sample dilutions. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection reagents, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers, with components to be stored at +4°C or –20°C according to the protocol.
