Mouse Chitinase 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse CHIT1 (Chitinase 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and a colorimetric detection method read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The assay employs a biotinylated anti-CHIT1 detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product whose absorbance is proportional to CHIT1 concentration in the sample.

The standard curve range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.059 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m. Average recovery is 91% in serum (range 80%-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%), based on n=5. Dilution linearity has been validated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 for serum (87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%), EDTA plasma (90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%), and heparin plasma (84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
