Mouse Chemokine C-X3-C-Motif Ligand 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA enables in vitro quantitative measurement of mouse CX3CL1 (Chemokine C-X3-C-Motif Ligand 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is built around a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8-well strips) with read-out on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The assay uses an immobilised CX3CL1-specific capture antibody, a biotinylated anti-CX3CL1 detection antibody and HRP-Avidin with TMB substrate, producing a yellow colour proportional to CX3CL1 concentration. The standard curve covers 0.156–10 ng/ml with sensitivity <0.060 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m. Components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed; the kit must not be used past its expiry date.

Reported spike-and-recovery values are: serum n=5, range 80%–102%, average 91%; EDTA plasma n=5, range 81%–101%, average 91%; heparin plasma n=5, range 80%–89%, average 84%.
