Mouse Chemokine C-C-Motif Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com offers a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse CCR1 (Chemokine C-C-Motif Receptor 1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for mouse reactivity and is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips.

An antibody specific for CCR1 is immobilised on the plate, and standards or test samples are added so that CCR1 present in each sample binds to the captured antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-CCR1 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow on addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of CCR1 captured, and the concentration is calculated from the O.D. absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <0.057 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). The product is intended for research use only.
