Mouse Cathepsin A ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Protective Protein/Cathepsin A/PPCA in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-avidin and TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction is stopped with an acidic solution and the yellow product is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4h 30m. The stated product range is 6.25-400 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 2.74 pg/ml.

Spike-and-recovery was reported as averaging 91% (range 80-102%) in serum (n=5), 90% (range 81-100%) in EDTA plasma (n=5) and 84% (range 80-89%) in heparin plasma (n=5). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was reported as: serum (n=5) 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108%; heparin plasma (n=5) 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91%.
