Mouse Catalase ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Mouse Catalase ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Catalase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Catalase. Standards and samples are added to the wells and bound Catalase is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Catalase Antibody, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that turns yellow after addition of stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the Catalase concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The reported assay range is 31.2-2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <14.3 pg/ml, and the total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery values are reported as 80-102% for serum, 81-100% for EDTA plasma, and 80-89% for heparin plasma. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers.
