Mouse Caspase 9 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Caspase-9 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) format using a Biotinylated Anti-Caspase-9 Antibody and HRP-Avidin detection. Captured Caspase-9 is visualised with TMB substrate on a Colorimetric Microplate Reader by reading the O.D. at 450 nm and referring to a standard curve.

Reported performance figures include an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.053 ng/ml. Average recovery values (n=5) were 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Linearity of dilution was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples. The total assay time is 4h 30m.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers. Components are stored between +4°C and –20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
