Mouse Caspase 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Caspase-3. The kit is suitable for use with tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids, with reactivity specific to mouse samples.

An antibody specific for Caspase-3 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Caspase-3 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate solution, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. Optical density is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of Caspase-3 is calculated by reference to the standard curve. Total assay time is 4 hours and 30 minutes.

The reported product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.054 ng/ml. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
