Supplied by Antibodies.com, this Mouse Caspase 1 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Caspase-1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-Caspase-1 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with signal developed using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml and the sensitivity is 0.059 ng/ml. The total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported recovery performance includes 80–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma, with corresponding dilution linearity data across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions.
