Mouse Carnitine Palmitoyltransferase 1A, Liver ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Carnitine Palmitoyltransferase 1A (CPT1A) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for CPT1A, combined with a biotinylated anti-CPT1A detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed using TMB substrate, with the reaction stopped by acidic stop solution and absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative assay has a measuring range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported spike recovery averaged 91% in serum (range 83–100%, n=5), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 90–103%, n=5), and 95% in heparin plasma (range 89–102%, n=5). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 was demonstrated for serum (83–110%, 79–100%, 90–98%, 82–108%), EDTA plasma (90–98%, 90–105%, 73–109%, 87–91%), and heparin plasma (88–103%, 77–105%, 95–98%, 87–110%), all n=5.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers. Components are to be stored between +4°C and -20°C as instructed.
