From Antibodies.com, this Mouse NNT1 (Cardiotrophin Like Cytokine Factor 1) ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse NNT1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for NNT1 is pre-coated onto the microplate; standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-NNT1 Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate solution. The enzymatic reaction is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the concentration of NNT1 calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of <6.4 pg/ml and a working range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and include a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers. Recovery has been demonstrated in serum (80-102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81-100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (80-89%, average 84%, n=5), with dilution linearity characterised from 1:2 to 1:16 across the same sample types.
