Mouse Carbonic Anhydrase IX ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Carbonic Anhydrase IX (CA9) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. It uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a standard range of 1.56-100 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 0.61 pg/ml.

Standards and samples are added to wells pre-coated with capture antibody specific for Carbonic Anhydrase IX/CA9. After incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Carbonic Anhydrase IX/CA9 detection antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration is calculated against the standard curve. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The kit contains a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers. Reported recovery ranges are 80-102% (average 91%) for serum, 81-100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Linearity has been demonstrated across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16 for each sample type. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
