Mouse Calpastatin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Calpastatin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a biotinylated anti-Calpastatin antibody with HRP-Avidin detection, visualised with TMB substrate that produces a yellow colour after addition of acidic stop solution and is quantified by absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <0.043 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery in serum (average 91%, range 80–102%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81–100%, n=5) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80–89%, n=5) is provided, alongside linearity data for 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types. Reagent components include the pre-coated plate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
