Mouse Calcitonin Gene Related Peptide ELISA Kit

The kit is reactive with mouse samples and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, or other biological fluids.

It operates across a product range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 4.22 pg/ml, read on a colorimetric microplate reader. The platform is a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and the total assay time is 2 hours 30 minutes. The procedure uses a biotinylated anti-CGRP antibody that competes with CGRP in the sample or standard for binding sites on the immobilised CGRP antigen. Following incubation and washing, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate are added, producing a blue colour that turns yellow on addition of the acidic stop solution. The intensity of yellow is inversely proportional to the CGRP concentration, which is calculated from the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm against the standard curve.
