Mouse Cadherin, Placental ELISA Kit

An in vitro quantitative sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the determination of mouse P Cadherin in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for P Cadherin, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-P Cadherin antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a yellow colour whose intensity is proportional to the amount of P Cadherin captured. The reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution and absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.112 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Spiked recovery averages 91% in serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
