Mouse C Reactive Protein ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse C Reactive Protein in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a capture antibody specific for C Reactive Protein, a biotinylated detection antibody, and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Following incubation with TMB substrate and acidic stop solution, the resulting colour change is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with the density of yellow proportional to the amount of target captured in each well.

The stated product range is 0.156-10 ng/ml and the sensitivity is 0.073 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4h 30m. Recovery validation (n=5) showed averages of 91% for serum (range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). Linearity was tested at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 across the same sample types, with recovery ranges varying by matrix and dilution.
