Mouse Bone Sialoprotein ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Bone Sialoprotein in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a Biotinylated Anti-Bone Sialoprotein detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction is read colorimetrically at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Sensitivity is <0.066 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Spike-and-recovery was assessed in mouse samples: serum (n=5) averaged 91% (range 80–102%), EDTA plasma (n=5) averaged 90% (range 81–100%), and heparin plasma (n=5) averaged 84% (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 gave the following ranges: serum 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97%; EDTA plasma 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108%; heparin plasma 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91%.
