A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Bone Morphogenetic Protein Receptor 1A (BMPR1A) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids.

An antibody specific for BMPR1A is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and test samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-BMPR1A Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the reaction, producing a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader; BMPR1A concentration is then calculated against the standard curve. The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.061 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
